Despite being a new company the senior team has over 70 years’ experience in the waste and recycling industry. This means that Velo Recycling can offer a professional and modern service ensuing high levels of customer service.
At Velo Recycling we pride ourselves on the service we offer. We have a Leeds based customer service team and employ the best local drivers to ensure we provide a professional service whilst remaining a local company.

Simpler Recycling Legislation
Simpler Recycling legislation was introduced to standardise recycling collections and improve waste separation for businesses across England.
Under the new regulations, businesses must separate key recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics, metals and food waste instead of disposing of them in general waste.
By working with Velo Recycling, we can help your business prepare for these changes by providing the correct containers, collection services and expert guidance, ensuring you remain fully compliant with the new legislation.
Food Waste Recycling
Food waste collections are vital to help your business save money and improve its environmental performance. If your company produces food waste, separating it from your general waste is vital in order to comply with the new Simpler Recycling legislation.
All food waste collected is transported to an anaerobic digestion facility, where it is converted into renewable energy and agricultural fertiliser.
Mixed Recycling
Our Mixed Recycling Service allows businesses to recycle multiple materials in one convenient container.
Accepted materials include:
- Paper / Cardboard
- Plastic bottles
- Drinks cans and Food tins
Once collected, the materials are transported to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where they are separated and 100% recycled.
Glass Recycling
Glass recycling is particularly important for hospitality businesses, as glass bottles are heavy and expensive to dispose of in General Waste
Velo Recycling provides dedicated glass collections for restaurants, hotels, pubs and clubs, ensuring that glass bottles are fully recycled.
Commercial Waste Collection - Guaranteed 24-Hour Bin Delivery
Once our sales team has discussed and arranged the correct service for your business, we will send all required paperwork for signing. This can be completed either in person, by post or electronically.
As soon as the documentation is returned, we will arrange for your bins or trade sacks to be delivered. We can complete the paperwork and deliver containers within 24 hours – guaranteed.

Roll-On/off - Perfect for businesses generating large volumes of commercial or industrial waste. Available in open or enclosed versions with rear-opening doors.
Front End Loader (FEL) - Lockable, high-capacity bins designed for larger quantities of bulky, lightweight waste.
Skip Hire - We also provide affordable skip hire for one-off projects or site clearances, available in three sizes: Midi, Maxi (Builders) and Large.
