Velo Recycling acquires SBT Skip Hire
We’re excited to announce that on Friday 26th June, Velo Recycling completed the acquisition of SBT Skip Hire – a well-established local skip company based in Yeadon.
For over 20 years, SBT Skip Hire has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable skip hire services and outstanding customer service to both households and businesses across Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and the Wharfedale Valley. With a dedicated team of experienced employees, the business has become a trusted and respected name throughout the region. SBT provides dependable waste solutions and has built long-standing relationships with customers.
The acquisition marks an important milestone for Velo Recycling and forms part of our long-term vision to build a modern, customer-focused waste and recycling company across Yorkshire. We are looking forward to integrating the SBT and Velo teams and building on the excellent foundations that have been created over the last two decades. By bringing together SBT’s local experience and established reputation with Velo’s ambitious growth plans, we believe there are exciting opportunities ahead.
Customers can continue to expect the same great service, reliability and local approach that SBT has become known for, while also benefiting from the additional investment, resources and growth plans being introduced by Velo Recycling.
Alongside our skip and waste management services, Velo Recycling will also be expanding into commercial waste collections, operating a dedicated fleet of trade waste collection vehicles to support businesses throughout the region. Our aim is to provide businesses with flexible, dependable and efficient waste solutions supported by excellent customer service.
